KeyBank Vermont City Marathon

May 19th-Monday: 4mi.-(29:42) at 6:18pm

May 20th-Tuesday: 0

May 21st-Wednesday: 10mi.-(1:15:18) at 6:36pm

May 22nd-Thursday: 0

May 23rd-Friday: 0

May 24th-Saturday: 0

May 25th-Sunday: MARATHON SUNDAY-(1mi. slow wu, 26.2mi. race-3:34:13-8:11 pace/mile) I felt good all the way up through 20mi. and then the back cramping started. I had to stop to walk and stretch, it was so bad. I chalk it up to dehydration and going out a bit too fast in the first 13-15mi. because of the crowd and competition pulling me along so well. The crowd was AMAZING!!! especially from 10-13mi. where I clicked off a couple low 7min. miles and a couple sub-7's. I've NEVER felt so nervous before a race and so excited, supported, and just totally pumped up during a race! EVER! I was really riding the wave of excitement! I'd definitely do it again, but with better preparation. 
Here are my splits:
10k-48:16-7:46 pace
10mi.-1:16:18-7:37 pace
13.1mi.-1:39:00-7:33 pace
20mi.-2:33:05-7:39 pace
61:08-9:50 pace/mile over the last 10k, felt horrible, and it was damn slow compared to the rest of the race
40mi. for the week 
456mi. for the year
