WMM Half Marathon

October 20th-Monday: An easy 4mi.-(NT) 

October 21st-Tuesday: 0

October 22nd-Wednesday: The run of doom. 4mi.-(29:58-3rd mile downhill-6:10) at 5:48pm. I believe I hurt myself during that 3rd mile. I was over-striding while going back and forth from the curb to the grass because of cars. It was raining and slippery, also dark out, wore a headlight. I was dumb and I paid for it by straining something in my upper hamstring/gluteus area. It could have been because I had just woken up from a nap, and I jumped right into the run with cold muscles, wore minimal clothing.

October 25th-Saturday: An easy 4mi.-(32:15) at 10:01am

October 26th-Sunday: WMM Half Marathon-(1wu-slow, 8mi.-51:18-had to drop out due to my leg-it just kept getting worse) at 8:36am

October 13th-Monday: Day off :)

October 14th-Tuesday: An easy 3mi.-(23:32) at 5:25pm

October 15th-Wednesday: Workout with the team-8mi. total-(1.25wu-9:18, 2.5mi.-20x15-20sec. hill sprints/strides-jog back down recovery, 4.25cd-35:00) at 4:10pm

October 16th-Thursday: An easy 4mi.-(31:16) at 5:46pm...sore calves and hip flexors

October 17th-Friday: An easy 4mi.-(30:02) at 5:34pm...sore left calf and ankles

October 18th-Saturday: An easy 7mi.-(52:10) at 11:11am, felt a lot better on this run

October 19th-Sunday: Long run/Threshold-10mi.-(7wu, 2 miles at T pace-12:20, 1cd)-total time-(1:13:08) at 9:11am. Took a small 4min. break after 6mi. felt pretty good overall, getting colder out

October 7th-Tuesday: Day off-got a head cold the night before

October 8th-Wednesday: An easy 8mi.-(61:10) at 5:24pm

October 9th-Thursday: An easy 8mi.-(60:36) at 5:20pm

October 10th-Friday: Threshold workout-(2wu-15:40, 4mi. threshold-25:24, 2cd-16:00)-8mi. total-57:04. Had to take an 8min. bathroom break at 6.8mi.

October 11th-Saturday: An easy 5mi.-(37:55) at 9:54am

October 12th-Sunday: Long run-12mi.-(1:21:58) at 2:26pm with the first 3mi. in 22min. First 7.5mi. with Kurt. Felt really good! No breaks! :)
